Why I do this work.
I got into mortgage lending because I watched my parents navigate the home-buying process with a lender who treated them like a file number instead of a family. They ended up in a loan that wasn't right for them, and it cost them for years. I remember thinking: there has to be a better way to do this.
Over the last decade-plus, I've made it my job to be that better way. That means answering your call at 8 PM when you're stressed about an inspection. It means walking you through amortization on a napkin at a coffee shop if that's what it takes for it to click. It means telling you when a refi doesn't make sense, even though I'd get paid if you did it anyway.
Today I'm a Mortgage Advisor at Homespire Home Loans. My work is helping people generate wealth through real estate — that's the heart of what I do. Alongside my own clients, I also get real joy from offering my expertise to other loan officers on our team, whether that's structuring a complicated deal or just being someone they can lean on. I don't run a team. I support one. That's the role I actually want, and it's the one where I do my best work.
Homespire gives me the backing of a national lender — in-house underwriting, 21-state licensing, and the operational muscle to close on time. I give you the personal advocacy of someone who's been doing this long enough to know where the shortcuts are, and honest enough to tell you when there aren't any.
That's the whole pitch. If it sounds like the kind of advisor you want in your corner, let's talk.
